SYNOPSIS

Ten year-old Noam is a latchkey child whose parents have temporarily separated. While waiting for his parents to reunite, Noam fulfills a parental role to his sisters, even as he tests his own boundaries in a dangerous children's game. The family’s suspended routine will be shaken once more, when Noam’s mother announces she has important news.

DIRECTOR'S BIO

Born 1969, Nir Bergman is one of Israel’s leading filmmakers. Bergman’s 2002 debut feature Broken Wings won nine Israeli Academy Awards, and major awards at the Tokyo Film Festival and the Berlin Film Festival. Bergman directed, wrote, and co-created BeTipúl (In Treatment), the successful Israeli television series that inspired dozens of international adaptations. In addition to his feature films and television series, Bergman won 1st Prize at Series Mania for his television series Just for Today (2019). His feature Here We Are will premiere at Cannes 2020. Bergman teaches at JSFS.
